Candy is an incredibly popular variety and, in order to manage demand, may go in and out of stock over the season. If it is out of stock then be assured more will be coming but we need to catch up with existing pre orders before making them available to order again. Description
A beautiful kumara with smooth candy pink skin with a thin, streaky yellow underlayer and sweet pink flesh. Great flavour and retains its pink colour when cooked. Fabulous roasted, boiled, mashed or in a hangi. A reliable cropper that produces many large tubers but also many smooth fingerlings (hekerau) that are fabulous cleaned and then roasted whole. Has a bushy growth habit with medium length runners.
