Description
A very old cultivar with dark green deeply lobed leaves and a bushy growth form which doesn’t ‘run’. It produces large numbers of long white skinned and fleshed kumara. Delicious white flesh with good flavour and a firm but creamy texture when cooked. The tubers are quite similar to Rekamaroa as is the leaf shape although the growth habit is quite different as Taputini have the bushy growth and Rekamaroa a fairly vigorous running growth habit.
