Description
Previously known here as Maikio Gold, we are pretty certain that this variety is Toka Toka Gold as it came from an early commercial gold variety around 30 to 40 years ago. Joseph has grown it ever since and has selected it as a good productive keeper. Tends to produce both long thin and short round fat tubers from each plant. Consistently produces a good weight of crop and is a fantastic, sweet variety. The tupu tend to be brittle so Joseph takes care when planting them. Has a bushy growth habit with medium length runners.
